Project Mission:
- Preserve our Australian WW1 military photographic history. By recording Anzac photos and Identifying Diggers from the first A.I.F. Helping other peoples projects and adding to their collections.
- Encourage Historical Societies, RSL Sub Branches to have their own Digger WW1 Photo Gallery Collections. Diggers Identified, Diggers Unknown, Post Cards related to the 1st. A.I.F. Soldiers. Need help to build your collage? Please contact us. We would very much like to help you and place your own collage on this website with your own title. Everyone's collections need to unite otherwise the young will never know and these diggers will be forgotten.
- Display Stands around the Country to help find and Identify Digger WW1 photo collections. Each photo board display will have a collage of digger photos front and back in different formats. Galleries will be categorised and each image numbered corresponding with this website. Type Image ID Number into search engine for more information.
- The National Archives of Australia needs help to add more photos of A.I.F. soldiers to accelerate its project called Mapping our Anzacs. Help place a WW1 Photo Identified with a WW1 Service Record
- Australian War Memorial has a project calledRoll Of Honour Photographs. This collection is building up but is not very well know. Only the deseased are recorded and the process can take up to a year.
